If I could have my dream garden, this is what it would look like!  I spent about a year, on and off, working on this.  It is a counted cross stitch and the finished size is 11" X 17".
I would love any suggestions on the best way to display it!  I can sit and stitch but then I don't know what to do with the results!  How many can I hang on the wall!  I thought of a pillow, but I would hate for it to get stained or "loved" by my cat!
Any ideas?  Thanks!

Good lord that's amazing work!! I can see why it took you a year to do.

Is there any way you could seal it in clear vinyl or something so you could use it as a welcome mat?

Wow, that is gorgeous. I'm in awe, it looks like it was painted. I don't have any suggestions of what to do with it though.

why dont you make a picture frame tray ?
i think it would look great and still remain protected,--- besides it would make showing off to guests easier

Being so beautiful and with so much time put into it, I would be afraid to touch it myself!  I would definitely have it professionally framed (I know, not a very crafty idea!)  And I'm sure you can find just one more space on the wall  Grin

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

Wow, I love the idea of a welcome mat!  That could work....

The picture-frame tray is real neat too, what clever idea!

Yes, there is always room on the wall for one more!!  LOL

Thanks for your comments and suggestions! I want to display it instead of hiding it in my closet out of harm's way....

try it as an inlay in a coffee table. My grandma has done that with a few of her pieces before she passed away and we still have those pieces now. It lays out as coffee table in the bottom, needlework and then a thin piece of wood nailed/stapled as a border (just like the matting if you were to frame it) for the needlework and has glass laid over the top and she has for silver screws holding it all down.
That way you can see it everday and its practical  Grin

glitter it, no seriously, just add glue and glitter, no one will notice
