alrighty then

it was a rather nasty beige thing (matching old suite)

and needed making over to match lovely new suite

hurrah!

it was a rather random project I didn't plan too much just did it!

I now love staple guns very much indeed

and because I have two monsters, erm, I mean boys I wanted the top bit to come off and go in the washing machine, so using really NASTY ribbon I made it tie on! woo hoo!

just got to see how it holds up now...

oh and you might know it as a footstool but here in Northern England it's a pouffe!

Nice transformation.

How is pouffe pronounce? Lile "poof" or like "pow-f" or some other way entirely?

Great job.  Great idea to have it removeable for washing.  I was looking for a "poof" too.lol.  I know this as a footstool (or I'm supposed to call it an ottoman)
Great storing space.

Pouffe!  Sounds so much better than ottoman or footstool!! I love what you did with it, having a boy myself I'm wanting to do the same thing with my sofa!!  Roll Eyes

In the first pic your wall looks a pale lilac colour, am I right?  It looks the exact same colour as my living room walls!!
