Hi, I'm having trouble with the straps on the heart clutch.  The straps that I have made look something like the blue clutch.  However, the straps on the heart clutch and around the bag seems a litle more round.  I tried crocheting all the way up to the point where I wanted the strap, chained some, then, inserted my needle into the place where I wanted the strap to end.  I kept on crocheted after that, but I can't seem to accomplish the heart clutch look.  If that makes any sense? By any chance do you the the dimensions or the amount of chains and rows you did?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  By the way, I think that both clutches look fabulous!!!  Especially the heart clutch...wow!  You can email me...better yet, if you could just put a repost on here that would be terrific.

Thank you for the compliments!  I think that the reason that my edges look more round is because I crocheted the seams and reinforced the inside of the handle.

I can't even understand this drawing, but maybe you can...

Let me know if you figure it out!

Thank you so much.  I can get somewhat of what the pic describes.  I'll try crocheting around the edges; maybe that will do the trick.  Thanks again!

Did you by chance line the bags?  If so, do you have a pic available and if you could explain how you lined it, I would greatly appreciate it. thanks...

I love the one with the heart. It's awesome. I definitely need to learn how to crochet very soon, i keep seeing awesome bags on this site that make me angry that I don't know how.
Good job.

I didn't line them.  Sometimes pens stick out of the side and bottom  Grin
