This was one of my first attempts to use oil paints to add color to my laser etched marble. This one wasn't too bad, almost like a paint by numbers!

Wow! That's gorgeous!
I'm curious to know more about laser etching marble, do you have any links?
Do you sell your works?

I want your lungs to stop working without me.

Glad you like it! Just Google "Laser Etching" or "Laser Engraving" and you will find a ton of sites and examples. I do sell my items because it's way too expensive to be just a hobby. It's great though because you can engrave and cut all kinds of things - paper, leather, plastic, acrylic, wood, stone, metal, etc. (I can't cut stone and metal with my machine, just etch it.) I'm having a ton of fun and hope to turn my small business into something big enough to make a comfortable living off it. You can see more of my things on my site at etchedintimeengraving.com

(Sorry, for whatever reason I can't figure out using the hyperlinks on this forum. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong??)
