It does look more like a bolero, but I LIKE IT!

I'm posting because my Knitting Olympics project, which I finished, was a second version of this shrug, and I finetuned the pattern somewhat.  You can see the saga here:

And here's a pic:

I've altered the pattern somewhat to treat the ribbing a little different so that it lays better.  And that just proves how easy this pattern is to yarn-sub.  This is Yarn Bee Highland Thistle, and it worked exactly to gauge on the size 15's, even though the yarn calls for at least a few sizes smaller.  Very nice.  Very nice indeed.
