This is so unique! Did it take alot to adjust the pattern to a scarf? I'm not very good with improvising. I need to read it to do it.

I didn't do much adjust except the first set of pattern in full circular instead of half, the rest just follow exactly as the pattern. The pattern is super easy, I am thinking of crochet another one in  Noro silk garden yarn.

here is the pattern link http://crochetroo.blogspot.com/2006/05/fan-bookmark.html

i love the color/s

edit: with a 5mm hook it came out to be that size or did you have to change the pattern more to make it larger? i want to make one but i have this weird feeling it will be... the size of a book mark O.o; also how many fans did you make to make the total length of the scarf?

I didn't change the pattern at all, I used Noro kureyon with 5mm hook, and it will came out to the scarf size fan, don't worried, unless you use very thin yarn. I didn't count how many fan I do, I just keep crochet until I finish 3 ball of yarn.

What yarn you planning to use?
