CHECK THIS OUT!!
Foreversandles had an idea about posting all the pics you get in an album and I thought what an excellent idea! so I made a photobucket account that we can all use IF we want once we get our pictures, that way they are all in one place and you dont have to worry about people snooping through your other pics. what do you think of this idea? yeah or nay?

the account name is: CraftsterPhotoSwap
and the password is: craftster

See in this post from the round 4 gallery it says "all the pics you get"

Just added my album to the photobucket account sans pictures.

I have a question regarding the photo sharing, though.  My partner and I weren't planning on sending discs, but crafted USB drives.  Is this not allowed either?

This is all becoming unfortunately messy and confusing.  Sad

Argh it does seem that way. I would go with post your pictures in an album under your name because Plumcrafty wants it that way. And the usb thing? I would ask a moderator. It's a cute idea but I think it would unfortunately fall under the same problem

So how does this cd business apply to all the film peeps?  I'm guessing it wouldn't because we're all just sending either a roll of film or a disposable camera and then developing the photos.

Ok all I got a reply from the help desk ticket I opened: PinkMafia replied:

You can send a cd with photo's, just not music or anything illegal. Have a great swap!

So we can send our photos on a disc! Wink

*Phew!* I am sooooo glad I was not going mad and imagining things. Grin

Okay, lets have a vote. Do we:
(a) keep the album idea and abandon the use of CDs; or
(b) upload our received photos into the existing online album?

I personally like the idea of sending CDs, only because it means your recipient gets first viewing and you can choose how you want to print them but what do others want? I am happy to go with the majority view....

PS I am so happy that this swap is brimming over with lovely craftsters who are continually communicating and sharing ideas... Cheesy

I'd really like to send a cd because I've taken a few video clips for my partner, and I don't want to have to deal with something like a YouTube account.

But that's just me.  I'll go with whatever the majority wants.

I think CDs would be more fun - it's more to receive in the package!

We can still use cd's.  It would be easier to post photos on photobucket if the photos are already digital.
