I took a bunch of shots last night of my favorite club-- junk on the wall, boys with guitars, some neon lights and I even turned the motion picture function on to shoot video of one of my favorite singers singing so I can send that to my partner.

That all sounds amazing, elvissatx!

I even turned the motion picture function on to shoot video of one of my favorite singers singing so I can send that to my partner.

What a great idea!  I am totally going to do that, too!  Not of singers, but I know just the thing.  Yay!

I got a ready-to-finish frame from the craft store.  It is not the style I was originally intending to get, lol, but when I saw this frame, the whole craft just kind of clicked into place.  And I have the first step of the frame craft done now, and the rest of it totally planned out.  It's going to be an even better version of what I was wanting to do for the frame in the first place.  I'm so excited!  I <3 craft stores. Smiley

I am going to try to make it out tomorrow for shooting, and I am definitely going out on Monday here in the East Bay, and maybe also Thursday (We'll see how much i get done on Monday).  I'm going to try to make it into The City this week as well.  (Like the capitals?  San Francisco is my "The City".)  Cheesy  The motion shot I want is there.  Grin

Also, I am going to be in PA some in August.  I can get shots from there, too, if you like, elvissatx, or I can send just Bay Area pics, whichever you prefer.  It's Lancaster County and the Philadelphia area, some really pretty stuff there!

Getting ready to go out to take pics today for the partner! Just waiting on the fiancee to get his damn hair done! LOL

lol.  I hope you guys have a fun day!

I love pictures in general, so Pennsylvania would be super too.  After all, you'll be getting pictures from Wichita.  And depending on the timing, maybe the Cherokee casino in Tulsa.  (My job sends me to all the hot spots!)

Yay!  Okay, then, Pennsylvania it is!  And so I'll send from out there, too, then.  (We get back the twenty-second of August.)  And yay Wichita (and maybe the casino)!  That all sounds awesome.

I'm not sure whether this has been mentioned or not but the swap rules have changed. According to the SWAP FAQ we cannot send a burned cd of our pictures to each other. This means that we'll have to share them online somehow. Sad

14. What is NOT allowed in my swap package?

- Anything that is illegal in the U.S. or wherever you are sending your package to or from.
- Any items that have a legal age requirement to consume in the U.S. such as tobacco, alcohol, pornography etc.
- Mixed CDs containing copyrighted music or similar, including copied software, CDs, DVDs, etc.

A few notes about this
- Anything with a legal age requirement in the US is not permitted in swaps, regardless of the age of the participants. Even if you're both in the Geezer Swap, you still can't send booze!
- Since we have no way to verify the legality of burned CDs, none should be sent in swaps at all, regardless of whether they're music, text, images, audio books, etc.
- If you receive a "banned" item in a swap, please don't post pictures of it in the gallery! If you're concerned about receiving the item(s), please PM a swap mod or open a help desk ticket.
- If you notice a picture of a banned item in a gallery, please "report to moderator" rather than commenting on it!

That's from the swap FAQ's .... we won't be burning the cd's ourselves, we will be taking them to the photo place and getiing them "burned", so we would actually have a "Kodak" (or other brand) disc of pictures, not a "home burned cd". So that makes them "legal", therefore I don't think we have anything to worry about.

For those of you doing print, yes.

For those of us doing digital, it looks like electronic is the only way.
