Hey all,

I am looking for a general legal form for handmade dog collars, really just a disclaimer on them.  Any ideas?

Head yourself over to the nearest PetSmart and start reading their labels. They've got lots of lawyers. I've seen them simple to complicated after a 15-minute Google: DISCLAIMER: Consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of any insert-brand-name-here product for their individual pet/situation & assumes all responsibility/liability by purchasing said product.

However, a disclaimer is one thing. Holding it up in court is another. If you want to protect yourself, and you're in it for the long haul, get business liability insurance.

Er, just looking at this and saying that business liability is wrong, and that product liability is more appropriate. Duh.
