It is never to early for a gallery.

I agree!
Thanks so much, Giz!

Are you sure it wasn't Sugar n Cream you bought?

[blush!] yes! that's what I mean! I've heard of kitchen cotton by lion brand, but I thought they stopped making it.

i need to start hookin on that dishcloth since some of you have already sent out!

I tried a cute new pattern and I like the way it turned out.  It is kind of 3 dimensional,  I hope it remains that way after mailing it.
so share all ready  LOL

I love the idea of a stash only dishcloth swap.  I have so much in my stash it is not even funny.

I second the stash-only dishcloth swap!  Cheesy

I'm working on my partner's dishcloth and am almost finished.  Yay! I really hope she likes it!

Well, the first attempt was a failure, and I had to frog the second attempt once ... BUT, I am really excited. I am trying new things. I am a fairly new knitter and this is a great way to push my limits. So, hopefully I'll finish up number one tonight (halfway done) and get no. 2 knocked out in the next day or two.

A stash-only swap would be sweet!   Cool  Count me in on that one when it happens.

I got pretty lucky being stash only (though you know I still had to buy more "just in case" and give myself more options.  I don't think I'll be using the new stuff though.  Ahhh, any excuse to buy more yarn.

I'm about 1/5 of the way through my first one, but I have been away from home all day today and the technique I'm doing makes it twice the work of a regular dishcloth, though it isn't hard work, just time consuming.  I haven't gotten to the hardest part yet, I'm sure it will be fine, otherwise I may have to ban Giz from the question and discussion part of the knitting forum Roll Eyes Wink.  I want to try something new with my second one as well (anything crochet will be challenging to me), but we'll see.  Hopefully I'll have my first one done tomorrow night.  I'm having a good time with it so far.

*insert slo-mo scream*  NOOOOOOOOOOO!

tee-hee!  Wink

Alright, If I must, I'll turn away and cover my eyes.  I'm not peeking.

You may now discuss amongst yourselves. Smiley
