I've been busy trying to find a job post-uni so I haven't really made a lot of new stuff for a while. I was in the bead shop the other day when I found these gorgeous lampwork beads. The green ones grabbed me first, but I liked the pink too so I got some of both. I know I usually make plastic jewellery which can be a bit off the wall, but I quite like making these simple little necklaces. The photos don't really do them justice, the colour of the beads in the first neclace is absolutely gorgeous.

Now you should take a class on MAKING lampwork beads.  My daughter and I did.  We had a ball!  Check adult ed classes at colleges.

I did have a look on the internet to see how they were made but I don't think anywhere local does a course Sad. It's a shame because I'd love to give it a go.
