I really really really needed a new pincushion other than the old wrist one I have (not conductive when sharing your sewing space--pinned wrists.lol)and I wanted something fairly heavy so I might not knock it over.  I was inspired by karin_'s teacup pincushion.

Since I had a coffee set I got as a gift I decided....now's the time:
Here are the coffee cups:

Group picture.  I decided to just do them all.  I had wanted to put three on long polls in the garden but then I wanted to give my best friend one (she needs one too).  I know it won't take long before the other two are gone.

And an action close up.

I have a scissors "thing" that I want to put on the one I give to my girlfriend.
Hope you like them, thank you for looking.

Thank you ninjanator for your reply.
I tried to make them very simple without too much "extras".  I know they've been done before but I really needed one. Again, thank you.

I really like this. I love the look of a cute cup and saucer but never have a use for it. This would be an excellent way to get to use my cups and get them out of the dusty cabinet.

Thank you sarahmakes.  This is a great way to utilize those cups and saucers that we like but have hidden away or have no real use for.  I was planning to make one pin cushion and use the other three and put them on poles and stick them into the garden.  I changed my mind when I decided to make a gift for my BF since she gives me so much support when I make things.
