A sandwich with crisps in :-p

Uh, I mean chips. Only chips here are what you call fries, and those in a sandwich are a chip butty, and damn, I want a chip butty now... *nomnomnom*

I could put cream cheese, hot sauce, or those crispy onion strings on just about anything! I love putting cream cheese on a cracker with a thin slice of salmaii on top. I love dipping bruchetta in blue cheese dressing. Bacon with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top. Sausage dipped in syrup. Hot sauce on quiches. My whole family likes to eat the skin off of a potatoe, but I'm not a big fan of that!

I don't eat the skin off potatoes...unless they're covered in melted cheese and bacon bits. If I bake a potato, I just eat the guts and leave the skin behind.

I'm pretty sure that the french fries/ice cream thing is normal. Everyone dips their fries in their milkshake at fast food joints, right?

...right?

Yes! I always thought it was normal. Then people made me really self-conscious about it by staring at me and asking if I was pregnant.

This is my go-to late night meal when I just don't care --- when I'm hungry and pissy and just want fast, easy comfort food with total disregard for calories and fat grams:

Cover dinner plate thoroughly in tortilla chips.  South of the Border brand is my favorite, but I usually end up with the $1 per big bag Kroger generic

Drain and rinse a can of kidney beans.  In a bowl or on a plate, spinkle them very liberally with cumin powder and chili powder.  The more, the hotter, the better.  Go heavy on the sprinkling --- encrust those beans with spicy goodness.

Microwave for about 50 seconds or so.

Pour seasoned kidney beans over chips.  HEAVILY cover with shredded cheddar or shredded cheddar/jack combo cheese.  You may want to microwave this all together for about 20 seconds if you want your shredded cheese melty.  Don't over do the heating up here, though.

And the coup de grace which seems to freak some people:
Squirt very liberally aaalllllllllllllllllllll over with ketchup.  I usually squirt zigzags north south and then go back over it again east west.

The ketchup is cold and sweet, everything else is hot and spicey.  It is good.  It is the kind of good that is sooooo bad.  Smiley
