Yea. Thread just doesn't dye. I've done these shoes and two other shirts before and the thread never dyes. Which is fine with me really.

Thread doesn't hold the dye because it is typically polyester. The fabric will hold the dye because it is cotton. I just learned this recently while tie-dying. Smiley
