made them long ago...need to coat them with clear nail polish...favourite is the purple/pink/beige one
the yellow&brown one: got the yellow beads from my flip flops when they broke, the brown ones i got from my mom

have added a tutorial (cos someone pm and requested for one, so i thought why not)


here's a mini-tutorial


u take a magazine page, then mark out triangles on it like above, i just freehanded them so u can see, in reality u gotta mark them straight.


so when u cut them out u get little triangular strips. the cool part is that very little paper gets wasted!


then u need some small dowel kind of thing or knitting needle, with which u can roll up the paper into beads
apply a little glue on the paper AFTER wrapping the dowel one round (so u can take it out later! )


so as u continue to roll, u will see the bead taking shape


the end of your paper triangle doesnt have to be an exact point, cos i find it hard to stick it properly it always comes off (for me!)

 
voila! there u go, paper beads!

so if u make a wide base, u get a longer bead
if u use a longer length of paper triangle, u get a fatter bead
experiment away! Grin

thank u! it's glossy magazine paper...but nail polish/varnish wud give it a nice look
