Nice. I know some military guys who'd love this Wink

I like it because it's different than the "traditional" nursery themes, but still cute and fun.

This Rocks! What a great way to honor the parents military service, and make a great boy's? nursery! Very original.
The netting and crib should be removed when the baby can pull himself up on hands and knees. That's the recommendation that comes with store bought mobiles. You can hang the netting higher or over the guest bed when the baby starts grabbing things.

Wow an amazing amount of detail and work. You are a very special friend. I never would have thought to do that but it works.

Thank you for your nice comments. The concerns you voiced are actually the ones we spoke about ourselves. The netting has been pulled up out of reach but we liked it better for the pictures. No worries there. The mobile is extremely secure. The mother is very paranoid about that, plus we plan on pulling it up the older he gets or using it in another part of the room. He is about two months old now and likes it for the time being. Funny fact about the mobile: I would not let any of the men hanging down point guns down. They either point up or had their guns cut off. I thought it was bad karma.

Thank you again for your concerns. I apologize for alarming any of you.

SO funny about not letting the mobile guns point downward!! Cheesy

What a neat idea. I especially love the diaper bag. I want one and my little one is all grown up.

Sharp pointy things pointed at one are considered bad Feng Shui, not that I'm an expert, but they make one uneasy even if only subliminally. Cold prickly v. warm fuzzy. But then I consider the whole Army thing unsettling. However they did a great job of putting it all together and it works they way they did it. Very creative and well done. A great way to share their history with the baby.
