Possibly.... Smiley  I wonder if there has been one before and if so, what kinds of things were crafted?

Absolutely! Europride is coming up in less than a month here so I'm all tagged!
I don't care if it's done before, let's do it again!

I'd like to go a gay themed swap, I had a look and found the gallery for a previous one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=54427.0 there's lots of cool stuff, with lots of rainbowy nice things.

We could call it the Ladies and Gentleman's Basketball Team swap (look at the initials  Smiley ) That's what my friends in my uni LGBT group used to call it sometimes.

There's already a rainbow theme swap being planned too which might be fun for anyone who likes the rainbow pride stuff.

Thank you so much for that link, I'll have to check it out.  Yeah, I'm excited about the rainbow swap although it has nothing to do with the basketball team Wink.  (that is hilarious btw)

YEAH!!! I love that people are up for this. I saw that there was done about a year and a half ago, but that was forever ago and I wasn't really into swaps then.
The rainbow swap sounds fun, but I would like to try some fun - non  rainbow- crafts too.

examples of fun stuff:

I hope we get enough people interested to make this happen.

Oooh, I would be down for this, depending on timing.  I was thinking about trying to drum up interest in the winter, so stuff would be done in time for the US Pride season in May/June of next year, but now works too.  I didn't realize Europride was soon (and, of course, NOLA and some other parts of the south do Pride in the fall. Not really sure why...perhaps it is cooler?)

Atlanta Pride was this weekend, but alas, I missed it AGAIN. Grr.

I got some really awesome GLBT swag from FeastYourEyes in the Craft My Cause Swap, which you can see here. Just thought it might help with some ideas Smiley Also, I'm organizing the upcoming Rainbow Swap and GLBT themes are completely welcome! So yall join if you feel inclined Wink

Beginning of August in Europe is hardly cool at all, not even up north. Stockholm Pride (Sweden) is always at that time, and this year we got Europride as well, I think they move it depending on when the country it's in usually celebrate.

I'd like to do some non-rainbow stuff as well.
