My 4 year old daughter is a future comic book geek.  Grin  She loves to watch the Justice League on Boomerang and begs us to buy her comics whenever she sees them.  With that in mind, I made her a set of finger puppets which I will giver her for her birthday this year.  They are her 5 favorite characters from JLA:  Hawk Girl, Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, and Wonder Woman.  I also wanted to say that I used the amazing hair tutorial by *Owly* (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=192140.0).

Hawk Girl

Batman

Green Lantern

Superman

Wonder Woman

I still have to decide how I am going to add Superman's S to his shirt.  My embroidery skills are pretty lacking and I haven't figured out how to make the S yet.

Thanks for looking!

Cute! I'd suggest gluing on felt for the S. Or something similar. Yarn might work if you glue it right.

Felt is the best way to go. Looks like you did a good job with wonderwoman's embroidery.

Thanks everyone for the great comments.  I will definitely give felt a try for Superman's S.  If I get it to work, I will post a picture.
Did you enter these in the childhood heroes challenge?
I did not enter these in the challenge.  I had them done in time but, for some reason, it never occurred to me to enter them.
