My friend Alice drew me this adorable cat-thing for my birthday a couple of years ago, and I thought, "This would look really cool on a T-shirt!"

And then the DIY t-shirt reconstruction tornado hit, and I took it a step further.

This is the original picture:



It's saying "Nya" in hiragana.

I scanned, inverted it, and printed it again on iron-on paper (not as easy as it sounded, BTW. I don't really recommend laser printers for iron-ons)

And, the finished wrap! Voila!



The wrap pattern came from the book Generation T

And when all was said and done, I had the leftover sleeves to turn into gauntlets!
