I was listening to a song called "Faker" by Everybody Else before I saw them at the Troubadour in May, and decided I need a shirt with this line from it:

(It is obviously a work of irony, because I am NOWHERE near close to being a cold heart breaker, hah.)

And my niece (who also loves EBE) decided she wanted a shirt too, so I made her one with the next line in the song:

Through EBE I found a band called Bidwell. I made this shirt to wear to a show they did at the Knitting Factory, and they actually pulled me up onstage with them because they loved it.

But I wasn't quite satisfied with it (it was a rush job, and also ill-fitting)...so I made a new one.

They're all really simple, one-layer projects, but I hadn't stenciled in a while so I was trying to ease back into it.

I like them all, but cold heart breaker is my fave! I love how you made the letters all 'splatter-y' too. Cheesy  I'll have to check out the band...

This is my favorite things all wrapped up in one nice little post.... new tshirts, fun song lines, bands no one knows, and a way to find new music. <3!!

The shirts are great and now I'm off to check out the bands!!  Feel free to PM me with any other band suggestions! I'd be happy to swap bands with you!

Thanks guys. Splattering is my new favorite paint effect, in case you couldn't tell.

And ivlichelle, if you do check out the bands, let me know what you think!
