Dress for andys lil sisters dance prefomance, she chose the material and the pattern and i just sewed it all together, there was alot of essing about with zips, it took me ages to find one the right length! I love the sleeves, there so big! Overall happy with how this came out, thoguht it looks way better in real life than in the pics! I wish it fitted me...

How pretty! What is the material? Was it hard to work with?

Looks like lots of work, but you did such a great job, and the shimmery fabric is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

I love it.  ANd I love how obvious it is that she's a dancer. Just looking at the position her feet are in. I double love it.

Thanks for the comments! Smiley I'm not sure what the fabric was, i didnt buy it, but it was really slippy when i was sewing, i had to pin loads more than usual to keep it in place!

It looks like satin. Not the easiest fabric to work with, but you can manage it with a lot of pins Wink

The dress is not my "style", but it looks well made =)
