I absolutely love it. The color combo & pattern in general compliment each other very well. It also seems like the dress suits your sister very well [like, personality wise, as much as you can gather from a few photos].

My only real criticism is the tie around the waist. I like the idea of repeating the green somewhere else on the dress, but I'm not sure about the tie. I don't know if it's too thin for me or what. It almost seems like everything else was very well planned out & that was more of a last minute addition.

But that's a really minor little thing, & isn't even a huge distraction or anything like that [I had to LOOK for something for a criticism haha, but I personally always like a suggestion as well as praise Smiley].

This dress is very pretty ! your sister wore the dress very well
congratz about your work on it ! Did you put the zipper on the back of your dress ?
Next time, You should put the zipper on the left of your dress.  you made a trapeze skirt and the zipper made a fold unsightly on the back because your pattern is a straight line here
I wish that my explication is ok, because I searched my words in english lol  Cheesy bye girl

@ karataylor: you´re totally right, it was a last minute action XD. I hardly got ready when my sister had to go. Actually, I wanted to sew a bigger tie, but I didn´t have the time. Thanks for your criticism!

@Lynaldine: Yes, the zipper is on the back. For me it was easier/ faster. BTW, the zipper doesn´t fit to the dress (it´s just too big), but I had no other chance because of the time.

Means: I want to correct these 2 things (that´s why I´m not completely satisfied yet with the dress)

If you do end up making change, post those too! I think your idea of a bigger tie might balance it out a little more too Smiley
