Dissapearing Nine Patch top and Strawberry Quilt

Only a top so far but im excited even thats done...haha!


I made this super soft flannel quilt for my friends stepdaughter who is in the hospital with cancer. The backing is yellow with strawberries hence the one on the front.

I like the both. So sweet to make one for your friends relative. I'm really taking a liking to the disappearing nine patch. I may have one in my future yet.

they're both really great!! looks like a lot of hardwork but well worth it.

btw,how do you make a dissaperaing nine patch quilt? im intrested in making one out of my daughter's baby clothes that she is quickly outgrowing. its gonna be my first quilt, im excited!

It was easy and with the precut charm squares it was even faster. I used Tula Pink Flutterby.

thanks for the tutorial it really is easier then it looks. i was gonna cut the tiny little squares and the rectangular ones too. im a doofus. i cant wait to start my babys quilt but i dont want her to outgrow any more clothes. shes getting so big.
