I, too, love Dr. Seuss.  I teach 10th grade English, and I actually read a lot of his stories to my students for a variety of reasons.  I use The Cat in the Hat to teach about the structure of short stories, and The Sneetches and Yurtle the Turtle when we talk about the Holocaust.  I throw in random other stories when the need strikes as well, so it was great to see this post.

I love how many different stories you incorporated into your shirt, I wish you could wear it, but perhaps you could turn it into an art piece and hang it up somewhere to be enjoyed?

Great job on everything!  And the English teacher in me rejoices at the fact that you really did attempt to capture the real rhyme and pattern of Dr. Seuss.  If you were my student you'd have an A and I'm make you give me a copy of your poem so I could use it to inspire future students.

Excellent job!

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

ok, i LOVE the lorax, he's my favorite character ever. i really really want one to sit and protect my potted plants. down with the thneed!!!
as for the quality of your crafts(wo)manship, everything looks top notch. i was taken at how clean the lines of the hat look. very good.
the shirt looks awesome, i would probably take an old frame or some stretchers and turn it into a wall hanging. just stretch it like a regular old canvas and staple gun away!
you did great. and the poem really really hit the theme home. all around, you rock.
