So my son is so skinny that 2t underwear don't fit...he's just 2 and starting to potty train...so I wanted to make him some undies to wear, he needed to feel like a big boy...right?

So I found this pattern: http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/images/WeeWeka_Knickers.pdf

and made them myself.  I used one of his old t-shirts that was my favorite, with a cute little pirate monkey.  I used some cheaper cloth diapers to sew in a soaker for the accidents that are still happening.  Smiley

Thank you I have a 2 year old too who is about to be potty trained in next 6 months and what a great idea for those early days of accidents and a way to use the old T's that are not good enough for resell/use elsewhere!  thanks.

Those are great and thank you so much for sharing the pattern! I've been mumbling for weeks about making my son some mini training boxer-briefs, and I think I can modify this and make it work. (My big boy (19m) has a different problem, he's so thick that to get a pair of underwear that fit, I need to put him in size 5/6s, and there just isn't enough padding in there for training! Now to cut up something of the husbands to make these with...
