Thanks everyone!   I TOLD HIM SO!  I knew he didn't have eyes with the mask, but he INSISTED that he needed eyes... MEN!

I love the proportions! I'd leave the eyes, maybe paint them gray? (unless they photographed lighter than they really are)

Thanks!  They are a light unbleached thick muslin, but they are white on batman "in real life".

To those of you who asked for a pattern...  I don't have a scanner, and I made the pattern up using paper, so I'll try to figure something out if I have time...  Any ideas on how to turn it into a digital pattern without a scanner?  I do, obviously, have a camera...

I am going to work on the batarang and maybe bat rope?  I dunno, gotta figure out how to make his utilities without clay or anything, and he's only about 13 inches tall, so to make them so small...

THANKS AGAIN!

Well, you could take pictures with your camera and trace over them in Photoshop to make your digital pattern. But just pictures and measurements (and maybe the odd tip on how to pull it all together) would be more than fine for me!

As my answer to making anything fairly flat and small... How about shrinky dinks for the batarang?  Embrodiery floss twisted would make a good rope.  But I am sure that others might have some better ideas.

Good idea, but I'm afraid I have to make due with what I have... no job... and I haven't got any shrinky dinks...  Cry

And about the bat rope, I need some tines for the ends, you know... I don't have a prob with the rope itself, but those tines... maybe bent paper clips?  I'll have to look at what I've got in the old recycle bin and junk drawer!

He looks great without the eyes; more mysterious, I think.

Oh my gosh! Batman just in time for The Dark Knight! Batman is my ultimate hero and you did a fantastic job on him! Keep his eyes though. They're supposed to look that way, I think.
