No pants were harmed in the making of this pattern   Smiley  I took a pair of her yoga pants and traced the front and back rise to get that right, then hand drew the rest of the pattern.  I actually used to design and grade patterns for a living (about 100 years ago-I remember some of the basics anyway). This one-piece pattern is really easy, but best for loose fitting pants, like jog-style.

I wish I had a pair of these! I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years, but no one had these back then. Your niece is a lucky girl!

I want to make some. I grew up at the beach, wouldn't these have been nice then. My 4 yo niece is in swimming lessons all summer. A pair of these would be just the ticket.

They are great! And what an idea, towel pants. That would keep the carseat dry. I'll NEVER be able to find a towel that fun on clearance. Super find and super results!

Those are really cute. Such a good idea. Where did you get Paul Frank towels on clearance?

A great towel but even better pants! Such a great idea but your finished product is amazing.

What a great use for a towel!! I think I am going to see if there are still some on clearance and make some for my lilttle bro & sis, they live in FL and they got a pool so it would be great! I'm sure my step-mom would appreciate that over them dripping on her white carpet!!
