Bad news Cookie Monster

OKay, so they don't look too much like Cookie... Actually (like most of my childhood heros), these booties are bad news.





They sneak out.



They traipse through the flowers...




They climb the fence....




Don't let them too close to children...

These were made from a cut-up thrifted sweater, and cut-up thrifted socks, lined with quilting cotton in a naughty bandanna print.  I used the stardust shoes pattern.

I love the last photo.  Oh, pudgy toddler legs... my daughter has them. 

Also, the slippers are ADORABLE!  I'm going to have to try and make some for my wee one.
