My Garter

We are celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary this month and while going through our old wedding photos I realized I have a few things to post here 

This is my garter.  DH was in the Marine Corps so I (with the help of a family friend/sewing genius) made this from Red Velvet and Gold lace (Marine Corps colors) and I used a spare button from the Marine Corps dress blues (uniform).  I love it so much and I have it hanging on the corner of a picture frame in our bedroom now.

It's the little things like that that makes wedding "stand out".  Not the same old same old. Too cool!

That looks like a perfectly proportioned leg , The garter is lovely and it must be great having something like that hanging up to reming you of your special day.

I'm making mine too and I plan to have a skull and crossbones on it. No real meaning except I love them

Oh dear, it's September 27! And of course I still don't have all my paperwork to put in my tax return... which I need to help pay for the wedding... and I keep putting my other projects off too...

Oh my! lol, I will get there eventually. As long as the celebrant is paid for that's all that matters!

This is my first day onboard here, and I'm hoping to learn a lot from y'all. Are there any times/days that are more active here than others? It seems pretty quiet right now.
