Here's what I made. I like it. It's comfortable!  Wink It has an elastic waist which I didn't think to show in the so-so photo... but oh well. The fabric, which I bought as a remnant a long while ago, is kinda sheer so I **self-lined** it! lol It was actually very easy and fast but that sounds fancy!  Cheesy

Here it is!

Darn, and I'm holding it out funny too. Oh well you get the idea, right?  Undecided

edit: That black part isn't a waistband, it's my shirt!   Wink

I love the eyelet pattern!  it looks a lot like a couple skirts I've seen in stores lately.  very nice for spring.  Smiley

That's really nice.
I also like the color and lacey border at the bottom.
Great job!

Thank you both! And yes, it is springy. It goes well with sandals.  Wink

Very nice! How'd you do the detail on the bottom of it?

Thank you. As for doing the hem detail, first I went to my local fabric store, then I rummaged through the remnant bin, then I purchased a cut of very nice fuschia-purple fabric with a pretty hem detail on it.
