What a beautiful piece! It just proves that you don't need very much to creaty something so nice and so different. I LOVE IT! It's so unique.

Wow, I posted this a year and a half ago?  Time sure does go fast.
To answer MissMo's question of special tools?  Yes, I have a little quilling tool.  Some people can wrap their paper around a toothpick or a straight pin, but I can't seem to get the hang of that.  I bought a little slotted tool that holds the end of the paper.  You can find them at some craft stores, but I buy all my quilling stuff online from quilledcreations.co m I like their stuff the best. It is also a great website to learn basic techniques from.  Look up slotted tool on there, it will show you what it is.  I also find I use their extra fine tweezers a lot to help when my fingers are too big.
Hope that helps.
