I was getting really tired of constanly opening and closing the box I keep my 7"s in, so I made this!  At first I thought it was kind of mean, but then remembered records don't have feelings!

I set my oven to *warm*.  Records become soft at very low temperatures, so you don't need to set your oven high.  I made a little stand to set the record on to help shape it a bit.  I did this by simply making a *tent* out of cooling racks, and securing them with twisty ties.  I then set it on a cookie sheet to keep it from slipping.

Next, I just kept placing the record in the oven, taking it out and shaping it, until I got it how I wanted it.

For the legs, I simply softened a 7" in the oven, then cut it down the middle.  I just used hot glue to attach them to the holder (there is probably a much better glue for this!).  I put them on sideways!  There should be one on the left, and one on the right, not back and front!  I got too excited.

Sorry for the picture quality (or lack there of).  My digital camera broke, so I had to use a disposable.  Technology rules! I'm sure you smart humans can come up with better designs than this, and I can't wait to see them!=)
