so mine is rather lame compared to some of the other things you guys did, but oh well, it's only my first challenge. =D!

but anyways,

i decided i was going to make a captain planet and the planeteers shrinky-dink charm bracelet.

loved captain planet as a kid.

however, after making captain planet out of shrinky-dink, i realized he was much too big and gave up on the idea.

so i asked my mom what i should do with him and she suggested a necklace.
but i'm not really the necklace type girl so that idea was scratched.

then i decided to make him a key chain.
till i realized i already have way too many key chains:

and that when my keys were in the bottom of the black hole commonly referred to as my purse:

he'd get broke, so i gave up on that idea too.

and then i figured out the perfect idea.
cell phone charm!
but i didn't have one of those fancy things that are on cell phone charms,

so i just improvised.

i totally love it.

anyways, there's my unnecessarily long explanation and my captain planet cell phone charm.

And your story made me smile.

Go you.

would love a stencilled shirt, and am willing to personal swap resin jewellery for one. PM if interested.

Yay. This is sooo cool. I'm glad you picked him as your hero! He's one of my fave's too. My best friend and I have sooo many jokes and skits about captain planet.  Tongue I went as Linka to an anime convention this year! I made all of linka's badges out of Shrinky Dinks Cheesy

If you wanted to see my costume here it is. Cheesy http://www.flickr.com/photos/camellia_ruth/2548441362/in/set-72157605414839449

You came in from the darkness and held the door open wide
You stood there like a vision before my unbelieving eyes
I believe in what I see and also what I hear
But did the night play tricks on me or were you really there.
