Thinking about joining.
What if I don't want scraps?  Will I for sure get fat quarters and a half yard?  Or may I end up with someone who wants to send me scraps?

Oooh, good question.  I wouldn't want scraps either, I have enough of those.  Smiley

Same here! Smiley

I think you can just substitute a FQ to send scraps if your partner wants them.

I'm perfectly happy to only send complete FQs, so just talk about it with your partner and let them know if you want scraps or not. Nobody would send something if you'd said you couldn't use them  Smiley

yep, exactly right!
In the swap ideas thread, a lot of people wanted scraps and smaller pieces for postage stamp quilts as well as fat quarters. So when your partner gets your information, they can see if you want scraps or not and hopefully there will be no issues! Everyone will end up with the equivalent of a half yard + 4 fat quarters.

Sent my questionnaire in, i am not sure about the fabric so I have put that I would send 4 FQ's and a bag of 4" squares. I hope that is OK?

Unless you and your partner work out another arrangement, the 1/2 yard is required. The fabric totals 1 1/2 yards for this swap, and that would leave your partner short 1/4 yard. I hope that makes sense!

I'm contemplating joining.  I have so much fabric and also have a particular taste when I buy fabric so I'm unsure ;P

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.

This is gonna be fun! I love fabric, but every time I go shopping for it ... I spend a half hour just debating about color/style/pattern! LOL It'll be awesome for someone to just pick it out for me! Smiley

I love this idea for a swap!  I have stuff to pass on but not sure what I would want or what I'd use it for.

I could always use more fabric. Smiley  Actually, I'm looking for tone on tones and batiks for a quilt so I'm definitely considering this to fill up my fifth swap spot.

I'm the same way! It's like shopping for shoes.... I can never decide EXACTLY what I want, so I usually end up not picking anything at all. LOL I'm so indecisive. I can't wait to see what my partner picks for me Smiley
