It turned out beautiful.  I love when couples have creative cakes!

Congratulations on your marriage as well.

Thanks everyone, I'm really glad you all like it!

To answer a few questions:
It had about 165-170 cupcakes and 100 mini cheesecake squares when full. We got the cupcakes at Sam's Club without any frosting and made our own and frosted them, so they were delicious. They only charge $27 for 165 unfrosted cupcakes, whereas 30 frosted cupcakes are $11.27

The tree is currently in my parent's living room, all the pieces are leaning against the wall. We are considering selling it so we don't have to worry about the hassle of renting it, we definitely don't want it to be a one-time use kind of thing. We even got an offer at the reception!

It is absolutely beautiful......can you post the diameter of each layer (circle).
I will have to get back to you on that, try to see if I can find my notes. I know the biggest layer was 40", and the top was 9", and then they just go from there. Each MDF layer is a different size, but some of the styrofoam layers are the same size.

Wow!!!  I love that the cupcakes have little pink sprinkles to match the flowers.  I can not believe how big this is.  Where there kids at the wedding?  That would have been my dream come true as a little girl it looks like something out of a fairy tale.

OMG! Wow! Wow! Wow! That's amazing!! I love that it has such a big presence! The mixture of cupcakes & other treats & flowers is wonderful too. I would probably end up slowly stalking that big tree of sugar, like a cougar hunting it's prey. I actually kinda want to hug that tree.

I'm sure that will be one thing that your guests will never forget. You'll be starting a trend! You could probably rent it out or sell more for other weddings!

Congrats!

I love the fact you didn't have a traditional cake for your wedding. Wonderful idea!
