I just posted two more blocks in my gallery on page 2.  One for ajanderson and one for homerof2.  Sorry I've been MIA--life has been stressful and busy, and now I have to scramble and finish up the rest of my blocks (only four left!) before I get completely busy with class starting tomorrow. :O

fishie, your blocks are really phenomenal!  So pretty.  I might have to try the one you did for ajanderson.  Very very nice!

Also, I have that purple scale-y looking fabric except in blue.  Smiley  How funny.  I've never seen it anywhere else.

What - a - swap !
I wish you'd open the next round (?) for Europeans, I'd sooooo much like to join!
All your talent and skill is adorable, from color and fabric choices, to pattern decisions and sewing skills.

my personal favourites are the blocks for caroDIYnamite: paisley (love!), those colours (some favourites!) PLUS your talent makes fabulous creations!
I want to must see the finished quilt! Roll Eyes

I've managed to get a big ol' assembly line going with 6 or 7 more blocks almost completed. yay! I can't believe it, but I'm alllllmost done with this swap.
I'm excited to see the mad rush of blocks that'll be posted the last day or two. I know mine will probably be among them Smiley

I'm starting an assembly line too.  All the blocks I'm grabbing off the intenet have been fairly complex and time consuming, so I'm designing a bunch of (HOPEFULLY!) simpler blocks that still look pretty cool.  Once I get them all designed, I'm going to do all the cutting, and then all the sewing.  Maybe I can get them all done in one night?  Problem is, I don't have another free night until the 30th!

WHOA bertaberta!
I absolutely adore my block. I am so reluctant to try curved piecing, but that looks so amazing I might just have to give it a try.

With the deadline approaching, I have finished another block, but have yet to post it and have the other 8 all cut out.  Now I just have to assembly line piece them.  Exciting!  We're almost to the end.
