I made this for a swap.  I found the graphic through a google search.  I was looking for bird silhouettes and came upon this one.  I fell IN LOVE with it.  I saved the picture and printed it up.  Then I bought transfer paper for fabric and used it to trace the pattern onto the tee.  Then I filled in the pattern with fabric paint- like a coloring book page.  Cheesy

Here is the graphic:

Here is the final outcome:

I sprinkled glitter over the whole graphic when I was done so it sparkles a bit.  I added the end of the tail of the bird and some falling leaves.  The falling leaves actually cover up a dripped bit of paint.  I'm messy.  LOL

What do you think??

Love it!
I love how you extended the tail and I think your blot of paint was a blessing because I really like the leaves fluttering out the bottom.
Nice work!! It came out beautifully!

Thanks!!  I used Tulip brand fabric paint.  I bought it at JoAnn's.  I didn't realize it until I was already painting but I had bought two different types of the paint.  One was called velveteen and I used it for the background color.  It's thick and creamy and nice to work with.  The others were all matte and were thinner, especially the white paint.  It was so runny!  That's why it dripped, it was so runny.  I wonder if I got a bad bottle because the other's were not that thin.

Thanks for all the compliments!!  I loved the shirt and now I want one for myself.  LOL
