it's a long shot, but are any of you crafty ladies (or guys) from central ohio? i'm talking around chillicothe, circleville, waverly, frankfort, greenfield, kingston?

i'm from chillicothe. at least an hour away from any normal sized city (columbus, dayton, cinci). we should do a craft show in chillicothe or something. i know there's tons of crafty people who would love to buy or sell some cool stuff.

let me know if i'm alone in central ohio.........plz? actually i guess it's more of south central ohio.

I'm in Cleveland, but my mom is down in Jackson. ('bout 1/2 hour from Chillicothe)
There are art/craft shows at Canter's Cave every year, and there's a craft mall in Jackson (I've heard mixed reviews) and the Marquee (old movie theatre - my spelling is probably wrong) downtown Jackson has been turned into an art gallery that does travelling/rotating exhibits.

Hope that helps a bit.

(oh - and Athens - where Ohio Univerity is - has some pretty cool stores and such.   and there's a big show there either once or twice a year - at a place called the dairy barn  - and I'm sure there are lots of crafty college students there.)

here are some links:

I'm from Chillicothe! Cheesy  There is a little craft shop (on high street now, I think), but I think it's mainly countri-fied stuff... I highly recommend heading to Athens for supplies and their fairs, there is a lot!
