Thanks to everyone for the words.  As much as my ego loves the "wish it were my idea" comments I must admit to stitch it is mine but the idea was out there before I stole, I mean borrowed it.

I found it on a shirt but wanted something my gf could put on her desk or see where ever she wanted it. Plus I cant make shirts  Tongue

love + geekiness + a man who can cross stitch = WOW! I especially love the colour codes (and no, I am not geeky enough to realize what the rest means either!  Roll Eyes Though I think I get the 'base' part)
A crafty male geek - ah, be still my raging hormones beating heart. And not only that, but a geeky man who cross-stitches game referencing Valentines... *sigh*

At first glance I thought it was a card, and I thought you should do like the greeting card companies do and put a little something on the back - I think "someone set us up the bomb" might be appropriate. Smiley Or a picture of Cats himself. But cross-stitch is even better than a simple card! ^_^

And for all of you who aren't geeky enough to get the reference:

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

and I agree, this is totally going to be a secret present for my husband for an upcoming silly gift giving day. How great! Thanks for the idea, Whateverjames, even if it isn't really yours - you made it crossstichin' awesomeness!

this made me laugh aloud like an idiot at my desk at work.  impossibly awesome.  this is going right on the to-do list for my bf.  dont know if he'll get the reference, but it will be worth it to get to explain it all....
