Can anyone help? I am looking for big crochet hooks in Australia. Specifically a size Q (16mm) or something similar.
Have you seen any or know someone who makes them?

I'm fairly sure I have seen them around at the craft fairs - which means they are around but you need to hunt for them. Have you tried - okay a quick hunt online shows that Birch make larger hooks (10mm+) http://www.birchhaby.com.au/ourrange.asp?cat=8&scat=1401#expand - so you should be able to get them. Lincraft also has some online http://lincraft.cart.net.au/cat/2021500.html. 15mm seems tp be the closest I can see.

thanks for the suggestion. I may go to the craft fairs & ask around if someone could make some -I'm after the REALLY big ones starting at 16mm and going to about 20mm! Our local Lincraft staff looked at me as if I had 2 heads when I asked Grin. It must not be that often that they sell fat hooks.
