I'm glad you love my atc's, they are my first ones, I made them on a piece of felt. On the felt I sewed some scraps, and a hand stamped (by myself) piece of curtain Grin

i'm back, and now that i'm catching up, i can post pics!

i received two lovely cards before i left

from SewHelpMe

i'm SO jealous of your acrylic! it's so fabulous!

from panthermoon (with the bonus inchies!)

they're awesome! i love the rubber stamp you used!

and then i received this card from taloola in person (y'all should see her belly! so big!! Grin)

it's so pretty, and very much taloola's style of drawing, which i love.

and then today this one came in the mail, from Ma Rut, which is frickin amazing!

it's the lovers tarot card, and it's embroidered with so much detail! she didn't know that i adore tarot imagery either!

thank you so much everyone, they're all such incredible cards!

and these are the two i gave taloola

it's metal tape (from the hardware store) embossed with the craftster crochet skull logo, adhered to a plastic backing and painted with alcohol inks, and then a row of holes was punched in the bottom and i crocheted into them.

this one's clear, as you can kinda see from the pic taloola posted. it's a slightly frosted plastic. the scissors are a solvent transfer (with a blending marker) and the rest is stazOn inks with my clear stamps.

i totally need to catch up on this thread, there have been so many amazing cards posted! that's gonna take me a while though, so i'll do it tomorrow, tonight i need to finish updating the swap list!

Holy Moly!  These are AWESOME cards!

I'm glad crafty_dame and goatgoddess like my black acrylic ones!  They were so much fun to play with.  I had a hard time sending them.

The one I sent to cyndiq in Australia is the last to be received and then mine are done.  I hope it arrives soon (I'm getting nervous).

I'm glad the scary monster card arrived in one piece, teamwang - the sticks were  a bit brittle, I thought they might crumble in the post!
Your pic is better than mine, I couldn't get the face to show up hardly at all.

My cards arrived from Crafty_dame today!

first up... the picture definitely does not do it justice, it's 3 layers. A frosted stamped layer in the back, which looks kind of like wrought iron?... a red transparent piece in the middle, and a top transparent layer with a stamped palm on a stamped? background  or is it something else?... there's section that makes me think of a negative, but the color is wrong, it has the word Art in red on it, but you can't really tell that from the pic .. I love it  Cheesy

She described this one above so I won't do that again, I love the colors, both great cards!!  Smiley

All these fabric cards are very inspiring.. well, all the cards are amazing, but these may be closer to something I could do,  Grin   although I'm not good with embroidery or crochet, but I can sew...

esmecraftin I love the twigs on that card, did you glue them down or wire them down?

crafty_dame, I love the color you crocheted on the metal tape, it goes really well with the ink

hardcoremothball's is that card melted crayons with doll parts?

SewHelpMe how did you do the acrylic cards? and is it very thick? I can't tell from the photos...

So... when is the next non-paper swap going to be?  Wink

yay panthermoon, i'm glad you liked it!

here's a pic of it all spread out before i added the second brad

the back plastic is the solvent transfer again with a picture of a gate, then the red transparency, and then the front layer is actually a piece of a HUGE negative, from an aerial photo. i think it must have been b/w, judging by the colour. and again, stamped with stazOn, cause i'm obsessed!
