Aw shucks. Yeah the tree is nifty. I made the bigger frame out of a coat hanger which was difficult and took a coupld to get it right. But once the frame was made you can make anything inside of it. Trees are all I have done but I'm sure branching out to somehting else wouldn't be hard...

Hey everybody check out this juicy delicious beauty I received from Hardcoremothball today!



It's melted plastic beads in all my favorite colors with a groovy black paisley painted on it - also my favorite.   It's called "Paisley" .   
I love these melted bead things but am too scared of the fumes so I'm really glad that I got as a partner someone with a stronger constitution than I have!  So many things I love about this card, it was a really sweet surprise to get today, thank you Hardcoremothball!

Doesn't it?  I can't stop looking at it and holding it up to the light, it looks so yummy and slurpy looking like jello or something!  Hey.....!! ...an atc made out of jello, hmmm....I pity my partner in the next round of this swap because I've become sort of fixated on figuring out how to incorporate food into a non-paper atc.  Like a ricecake in resin or something.  I know. I'm a sick individual.

the only problem with melted bead cards is that they never come out perfectly 2.5x3.5...i make little frames out of foil and then peal the foil away. the fumes actually aren't that bad but i use an oven thats not in the house when i do it. the fumes only get bad when its a big project....melting things in the oven is fun though.
