I'm so excited to see this starting up again!  I have been following along with Swap II and I'm itching to get involved.  I've PM'ed my info and I'm waiting to see if I made it in time!  Is everyone open to having a male group member?

i pick the fabic for the rest of my packages tomorrow! yay! i'm so excited!!

my grandpa does more sewing than my grandma does so i have no issues what so ever with a male quilting!

How did other pple go about buying/cutting their fabric?  One of the swappers, CaroDIYnamite, asked me about picking fabric out.  I used those fat quarter sets I had and then some yardage that I already had, so I'm not sure   How much fabric did people buy?  MissDisney for example, how much did you buy last swap? Anyone else?

i figured i needs 1/2 yard per person, and i bought 12 yards, then i cut them into individual pieces roughly 9x12, sometimes larger

this swap i am going to send as much as i can cos its gonna be scrappy so the measuring will be off a little, im thinking like my first swap, each person will get 5-7 pieces and each will be at least 9x9

Hmmm.  If you did 1/2 yard per person, you need 6 yards, right?

But if you were counting both of the swaps, you'd need 18 yards?

Also fabric.com always has great sales if you want to buy new stuff at a good rate.

what I did was buy what I normally would buy for  quilt and divided it up.  BUT, I did not send enough, not thinking the person on the other end wouldn't have enough for any errors.  Since I'm going scrapy this time I'm not buying any fabric and am going to send enough for people to really play around with.  I don't know if that really answers your question but that's how I'm doing it this time.
