Oh phooey?  You can still sign up when you do get your feedback slot open Wink

Oh I would LOVE to do this swap, but I'm all full right now.  Though I am waiting for feedback from three other swaps (I've sent on all 3, but 2 still need my partners to receive, which should be ... Saturday or Monday).  Oh phooey.  Smiley

But I've been watching the galleries for the previous rounds and I LOVE the swap idea.  If I don't get to sign up, I'll be watching this one too!

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.

I think I've come up with the two blocks (one for each group) I want to use for this swap.  I have 3 days off of work and I plan to sew until there is smoke coming out of my sewing machine (or I run out of thread, whatever happens first).

i gotta say i LOBBBBBBBBBBE the third one (imma have x-massy colors, and i can already picture it! lol)

all of them are gorgeous though

i will give everyone a heads up, im gonna be asking for traditional blocks this time around, because i like the way traditional looks in red/green/white and gold

if you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go mod, thats ok, i will find a use for the block

about 6 are going to be made into stockings for my fams, i hope that doesnt bother anyone, i just love the idea of my favorite swap (aside from the Disney swaps obviously!) being apart of my favorite holiday every year

dont design around that though, i will pick the 6 i think work the best outta the (hopefully) 36..the others will be a blanket and pillows for my couch to have out for the holidays

ETA:
i will also be asking you to either keep or throw away the scraps from my blocks, i know alot of you are doing various scrap quilt projects, so i am hoping you can find a use for them. its cheaper for you to send PLUS it helps clear my stash, and i wont use them, i have two bags of scraps from the other swaps, if anyone wants them, the colors are *red/white/black* and *teal/orange/white*

Yeah but the swap might be full by then!  BertaBerta is organizing the one swap I'm completely done with, and she's out of town until Sunday, so it won't be until at least then.  Smiley

so i was just on quilters cache and found some great stuff also! Also you do you guys consider paper piecing as cheating? I kinda wanted to mess around with it a little bit and do some neat squares (i'd practice on my own first)...if you didnt like them I can do something diff. anyways here are my favs so far.

I like both of these.  I can see I might have to change my plans for fabric.  I was going to just use 3 different fabrics but some of these take more.

First let me say that paper piecing is not cheating!  I love how intricate you can get with paper piecing.

Can we post a link to this forum on the quilting forum?  I never know if that's okay or not.  If it is, we may be able to get some more interest.

And, I feel bad about somebody losing a x2 or x3 becase I'm #25 (unless they volunteer to give up a spot).  I think it should be first come/first served so I completely understand if I don't get in.  I just have my fingers crossed that we get the 36!

You know...  I'll go ahead and post a link from the quilting forum, and if the mods delete it, that's okay.  Maybe a few people will see it before it gets removed!
