I made these for a personal swap I did with sundayafternoonhous ewife. She wanted a new light switch plate for her craft room so I made her the gnomes/mushroom and then got inspired because she is organizing the 13 Days of Halloween Swap and made her a Halloween plate too!

They are made entirely out of polymer clay, no molds or paints. Smiley

gnomes/mushrooms: made to look like wood grain and antiqued with liquid TLS and mica powders


halloween: glow in the dark spider web, eyeballs, ghosts and skull

I LOVE the halloween one, the pumpkins are soo cute and the spiderweb is awesome.

I love the wood pattern on the top one too, it looks pretty believable for polymer clay.

I LOVE making these! It is super fun to be given a theme and then working it into a light plate. It is a neat-o way to personalize a room. I have made them for my niece's room (strawberry shortcake) and godson's room (thomas the tank engine) I made one for a friend of a friend that had a room dedicated to Nascar Jeff Gordon. And was going to be working on a transformers bumblebee one later this summer.
