It looked cute enough on the model!!
damn her and her pale/skinny-ness

well here it is.....
sorry my pictures are sideways...

its a lot less flattering in person..
I think i'll give it away
also I'm wearing a black tank top under it since I fits my body all sorts of crazy

I like how it looks on you better than her. On her it just looks like cloth draped over a popsicle stick =\

I think you did a really great job. And you're pretty crazy because it looks way better on you than that model who can't fill the top out!

well, if it's any consolation, it looks exactly like it "should", it looks just like the shirt on the burda page. but yeah, i agree it's a bit.. revealing, and still looks like you shouldn't wear something under it. i think some people CAN pull that off, I'm not one of them, really not my style. but yes, you could give it away, because it really did turn out nice. sad that you your self didn't like it. I made like 5 shirts before i made one that i REALLY liked, so yeah, it comes with practise. soon you'll know just which patterns are "for you" and these blunders are just a memory in the past. remember to keep the pictures, though. you might want to reminisce some day. :]

I made the same pattern and wasnt entirely happy with it (Although it was mainly due to the length).  When I tried mine on it was with a t shirt underneath so I should imagine mine is quite revealing too- Im glad you drew attention to this otherwise I would have caused rather a scene in the small town I live in!  I think yours looks really nice with the black top underneath, I quite like the layered look.  One thing you could try, because now I look at mine my bust pieces overlap, is maybe use a similar coloured brooch to draw the two parts together at the front.  I really like the fabric, it seems a shame to give up on it.
