Mike and I were recenly married (June 26th/08)! I thought I'd share some photos of our outfits as I crafted them up for the occasion, and I must say, I am quite proud of them!

The "Fabulously Married" couple. I made my dress and Mike's suit, with the exception of his shirt, which he altered himself. I've never made a jacket before, so wow was it a challenge...

My train...(trane? hmm...) It's 9 feet long... You can also see my necklace and earrings, which Mike made for me!

bridesmaids - my grandmother made their dresses

and one more, so you can see the accidently lopsidedness of Mike's vest... lol

AND...

The cake! My mom made it. We forgot the cakestand. It's chocolate, with white chocolate dipped strawberries with colored chocolate squiggles and dots on them Grin

We noticed as we were cutting the cake that one of the berries had an evil face on it... haha! Cheesy

Thanks for looking! We had such an awesome time, I had to share...

that is a BEAUTIFUL dress! Congratulations on your wedding, and your cake sounds so yummy! Although I am not a Chocolate Dipped Strawberry fan, I must say.

I love it! I so want to make my own non traditional dress. The cake looks great too. Congrats on the wedding.

your dress is beautiful, and the suit looks good. I like the colors you chose for the dress.

also, it might be just my eyes, but do you both have purple hair?

That dress totally rocks!!!! I would've worn that instead of my stupid David's Bridal one (but at least it was only $350) and your bridesmaids dresses are awesome too!!

Thanks everyone! We had a blast. Yup, my hair (and his) is purple.

We crafted everything we could and involved our family and friends... Stressful at times, but so worth it.
