Congratulations! I wanted to say that your unconventional color choices in your dress, the grooms suit and your cake are REFRESHINGLY original and ever so sweet! Weddings are supposed to be happy but traditional "white" weddings don't ever seem to find the couple enjoying themselves.  If I had it to do all over again (and I won't!) I'd not only be colorful, I'd get dirty too! Life is too short to play by someone else's rules. You rock!

You look like Snow White! (IE: Absolutely gorgeous!) Congrats on your wedding, I don't have the guts to make my dress. (Though I may have to if mine is discontinued soon. Sad )

What a crafty lot you are! And I love your dress. Such lovely and bright colour and you look beautiful in it. It's such a flattering shape Smiley

Your dress is absolutely stunning! I love that you not only made your dress, but shunned the traditional white and opted for your own style. You both look wonderful.

Ohh! Thank you so much guys!

I worked from a Burda costume pattern sort of.  I have never used a pattern before and thus bought the wrong size, lol.  With some improvising and lots advice seeking, it all came together!

 Grin

Yeah...pattern companies do not vanity size so you end up wearing a much larger size in a pattern as a general rule. I am sure you know now to always go by the measurements....not the number size.
I failed to say Congratulations in my initial post...congrats to you and Mr You.
