Ok- I'm a little late in posting these up. These are great! I requested things in equal pairs because eventually I will sort through all the ornaments & give each of my girls a set for their own trees when they are all grown up

They came in that pretty cookie tin in the back (excellent storage, my shed isn't very critter proof), with a cute Christmas card and a old family cookie recipie! Now I need to go sew....

OK... superhooker totally spoiled me and our baby! I can't get over the cuteness... I already admit to putting up the pictures on the family blog so dh could see the cuteness (he's gone for work). I love it all... So lets get started!

So I open the box and on top is a letter with an explanation.


After reading the letter, the first thing I pull out are leg warmers for the baby. They are so adorable! I about busted in to tears!


The next set I pull out of the box is the matching hat and sweater... to which the tears started to flow... My baby is totally going to be wearing this! TOOO CUTE!


I gather myself together when I open up the tin and immediately shove a HOMEMADE cookie in my mouth! They are sooo good! I had three down the hatch before I was done taking pictures.


The Star shape baby blanket is soooo cute.. Can't wait to wrap the baby in it!


Next were the hand dyed and painted onesies with matching burp clothes. TOO CUTE... the baby will be wearing these that first week! the OMG factor is way to high at this point!

You must give Penlowe glowing feedback for the jaw droppingly stunning mantle scarf she made for me!

You're going to want to wist this one! It is done in a crazy patch style (which I've never dared to attempt)...with gorgeous fabrics of all kinds and trimmed with various ribbons, rick rack, & lace!

I'm so glad you like it and that it fits. My mental picture of the room was different but I really like it in the real context even better that the imaginions I had! It doesn't have a proper front or back, so you can put it up differently if you like. You could even be really formal & put it wrong side up if you wanted.

The red & white striped bias tape is 50's vintage, I'd been hoarding it for just the right project.

Did your hubby look at you funny putting it up for pictures? mine asked if I was going to cut down a cedar so I could take pictures...
