I got a message from Scotskipper to say she has got the first part of her swap goodies, I had to split it between two packets.
She asked me to post pics so here you go

fingers crossed that packet #2 gets to Scotskipper soon

My package arrived yesterday from kayrun!

Inside my goodie box was a book for my son (from her book stash), some arm warmers for my daughter (she saw them already and took off with them), some gorgeous dish cloths (you can't see it well, but the pink one has a crown on it, my mom took those), a cute little stocking, and a beautiful knitted tote.
I guess it's safe to say we're not waiting until Christmas to give presents.   Grin

I received a great package from Jennybear - she knitted me a calimetry and a hat from my wists. I absolutely adore the calimetry.  I haven't sewn the button on but I will soon!!

And she also sent me a set of 4 etched glasses - two with the koi facing one way and the other two facing the other.  They are just gorgeous and I am planning on showcasing them - probably get some flat glass marbles and some dried miniature cattails (too bad I don't have them in my pond right now!  I could just pick and dry my own but I will get some!!
They are stunning and extremely difficult to photography.  I tried my best but no matter what I do I can't begin to share their beauty!

I had a blast crafting (and receiving Wink) from this swap and am looking forward to another round in the fall!

I love that all this awesome stuff came from stash!  I will be signing up for a next round, whenever it starts...although september sounds more convenient for me too.

Those glasses are so pretty, craftydeb!

Here's all the awesome stuff I got from Craftydeb:
Fabric Bowl, crochet Robot (totally awesome.), fabric sandwich wrapper, tissue box cover, fabric grocery bag, kitchen towel... whew! i think that's it. Craftydeb is awesome and I just can't believe how amazing the items are.

The photo of the fabric bowl does it no justice, it's just the best thing ever.

Oh poop.  I knew I should have made the tissue box cover for a smaller box of tissues - the one I made for me fits perfectly - yours looks baggy Cry
I'm glad it was a hit - I am still wondering about what kind of yarns you used though!

No Wool! I made sure of that... Smiley

I'll have to check the labels again for the exact blends but i'm pretty sure the gray one was a cotton/synth blend and the green was...ah..can't remember...i'll check the labels when i get home.

I love the gray one especially - it reminds me of the charcoal color I have been working with for my most recent for work project - but isn't the same texture (which is soooooo nice for a change of texture!!)  I can't wait for the weather to get cold now!  I am just stoked!
The pattern for the robot is on its way .... soon.  My husband is still working on the pdf for it.

Wow!  Everyone so far has made really outstanding packages!  There's definately some tremendous talent here!

Deb, I knew you were planning to spoil your partner but, yowza! Shocked

On an organizational note...
Over a week has passed since the original sendout deadline.  I need a check-in PM (unless I have asked you to hold your package) by Monday 08/11 from everyone that has yet to send.  If you have already sent, I need your DC#, please.

Thanks! Smiley
